Civil Engineer

The planning and building of roads, bridges, rivers, sewage treatment facilities, and other infrastructure is the responsibility of a civil engineer, also known as a licensed civil engineer.   • Overseeing soil testing to establish soil strength and building feasibility
  • Using design software to create project drawings and renderings
  • Managing repair and maintenance of infrastructure projects

Requirements and skills

Civil engineers need to be proficient in both design and construction. Depending on whether the project is for a building, bridge, road, or another kind of infrastructure, a certain area of knowledge will be needed. Among their most crucial abilities and credentials are:
